Meanwhile, west bengal chief minister Mamta Banerjee said in Kolkata on Friday that she will invite the director of the film Padmavati Sanjay Leela Bhansali and their team in this state. He will also make special arrangements for the film's premiere and release.

Banerjee had tweeted a few days ago that the controversy over the film is a plan to destroy the freedom of expression in the country.

In a program, he said, "If he (Bhansali and producer) can not release Padmavati in any other state, we will make special arrangements for this in our state. In this, Bengal will be happy and will be proud. Sanjay Leela Bhansali and his Padmavati team are welcome in our state.

Banerjee tweeted on November 20, "We condemn the super-emergency". All the people of the film industry should come together and raise their voices against it.
